vs. Seattle, and the youngest rookie right-hander to do so since Brad Bergesen (23 years, 257 days) worked 8.0
scoreless on June 9, 2009 vs. SEA.
◆ Tallied at least six strikeouts in five straight starts from Aug. 28 to Sept. 21, marking longest such streak by an
Orioles rookie in team history (ELIAS).
◆ Recorded a career-high nine strikeouts on April 29 (Game 2) at Detroit...At 23 years, 164 days old, was the
youngest Oriole with nine SO in a game since John Parrish (22 years, 241 days) on July 24, 2000 vs. Yankees.
◆ Worked 5.0 shutout innings on April 23 vs. Detroit and April 29 at Detroit to become the youngest O’s starter
to toss 5.0+ scoreless innings in back-to-back games since Jack Fisher did so in three straight starts in 1960.
