        ◆   Joins Angels in 2026 as the Club’s hitting coach...Anderson returns to MLB following a seven-year stint
          with  Orioles  as  Vice  President,  Baseball  Operations  from  2013-2019;  Anderson’s  teams  went  527-
          607 (.465) with two playoff berths, including an A.L. East title and ALCS appearance in 2014; During
          Anderson’s time in the front office, the O’s also drafted MLB All-Stars Jonah Heim (2013), Tanner Scott
          (2014), Cedric Mullins (2015), Austin Hays (2016), Adley Rutschman (2019) and Gunnar Henderson
          (2019), as well as Angels pitcher Grayson Rodriguez.
        ◆   Anderson began his front office career with the Orioles in 2012 as Special Assistant to the Executive
          Vice President of Baseball Operations after consulting with the team on hitting instruction and strength
          and conditioning training from 2010-2011.
        PLAYING CAREER & MISC
        ◆   Three-time All-Star (1992, 1996-1997) who played 15 seasons with the Red Sox (1988), Orioles (1988-
          2001), and Cleveland (2002)...Spent 14 seasons with O’s, where he set Baltimore Orioles records in
          stolen bases (307) and times being hit by pitch (148); Anderson also ranks in the franchise’s top five in
          walks (third; 927), plate appearances (fourth; 7,464), extra-base hits (fourth; 602), runs scored (fifth;
          1,044), and times on base (fifth; 2,689).
        ◆   Is one of three players in Major League history with both a 50 home run season (50, 1996) and a 50
          stolen base season (53, 1992), alongside Barry Bonds and Shohei Ohtani.
        ◆   Set Baltimore single-season records for home runs (50) and extra-base hits (92) in 1996, which stood
          until they were surpassed by Chris Davis (53 HR and 96 XBH) in 2013.
        ◆   Tied for second in Orioles franchise history with six postseason home runs.
        ◆   Inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016.
        ◆   Originally drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 10th round of the 1985 MLB June Amateur Draft out of
          the University of California, Irvine...Made Major League debut with Boston on April 4, 1988...Traded
          by the Red Sox with RHP Curt Schilling to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for RHP Mike Boddicker
          on July 29, 1988.
