2025 SEASON
◆ Spent majority of season on Blue Jays injured list recovering from right elbow UCL reconstruction surgery, and
did not pitch in Majors.
◆ Beginning on July 14, made eight total starts on rehab assignment between FCL Blue Jays (one game), High-A
Dunedin (one game), Double-A New Hampshire (one game) and Triple-A Buffalo (five games), before being
optioned to Buffalo on Sept. 11.
◆ In seven total games with Buffalo, went 1-1 with a 2.97 ERA (33.1 IP - 11 ER) and 30 strikeouts and allowed three-
or-fewer earned runs in all seven outings.
◆ Was claimed off waivers by Braves on Sept. 26, but did appear in a game in Atlanta organization before the
season ended.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
◆ In 2022, was selected as an American League All-Star and finished third in A.L. Cy Young Award voting behind
Justin Verlander and Dylan Cease...Also named as an All-MLB First Team selection.
◆ Named by Toronto Chapter of BBWAA as 2021 Rookie of the Year...Named to 2021 MLB Pipeline All-Rookie Team.
◆ Was Blue Jays Opening Day starter in 2023.
◆ Made Major League debut with Blue Jays on May 27, 2021 in Game 1 of a doubleheader at New York (A.L.).
