        ◆   Returns to Angels organization in 2025 as assistant pitching coach after serving seven seasons
          as Braves catching coach...Also worked closely with Braves pitching coach Rick Kranitz on game
          preparations...Prior to stint with Atlanta, served as the Angels Double-A Mobile Manager in 2017,

        ◆   Professional  playing  career  spanned  16  seasons  (1993-2009),  including  11  in  the  Majors  with
          Royals (1996-99, 2001), Athletics (2000-01), Rockies (2001), Angels (2002), Orioles (2005), Phillies
          (2006), Yankees (2006), Blue Jays (2007) and Indians (2008)...Appeared in two games for Angels
          in 2002 after being acquired at trade deadline; did not appear in postseason during Angels World
          Series title run...During tenure with Philadelphia, his distinctive Fu Manchu mustache led to a cult
          following from Phillies fans and the formation of a popular fan club known as Sal’s Pals...In 427
          career Major League games, batted .221 with 47 home runs and 140 RBI, while posting a 31%
          caught stealing rate for his career as a catcher...On June 4, 2000 for Oakland, hit a deep home run
          to left-center field which broke the window of a suite at the Oakland Coliseum.
